Following a major transformation, the rebranded D Las Vegas, formerly Fitzgerald’s Hotel and Casino in downtown Las Vegas, will host a week-long celebration featuring concerts by Bret Michaels and OneRepublic on the 3rd Street Stage of the Fremont Street Experience. Michaels, front man for the rock group Poison, will perform on Oct. 13 at 10 p.m., and OneRepublic perform on Oct. 20 at 10 p.m.
The renovated property will feature a new casino and 638 remodeled contemporary rooms and suites. The two-level casino will boast slots and table games manned by the D’s dancing dealers on the first floor. The second floor will have an old-school Vegas atmosphere, with the Vintage Casino. The casino will offer the Longbar, the longest bar in Nevada. On Fremont Street, the D Bar will feature “trickster” bartenders who will send bottles and glasses flying through the air.
